My name is Michael Meyer, and I founded Summit Home Solutions to solve a problem I faced in my own home.
Even with over 20 years of experience as a professional Maintenance Manager, life gets busy. My wife, Michelle, and I were working full-time, and we simply didn't have the time to handle every repair ourselves. But when we tried to hire help, we ran into the same frustration so many homeowners face: it was nearly impossible to find reliable, trustworthy contractors who would show up on time and do the job right.
I realized that if I was having this much trouble-with all my industry knowledgethen my neighbors in Fort Wayne must be struggling even more.
I started Summit Home Solutions to be the answer to that problem. I wanted to build the company that I wish I could have hired: one that is professional, transparent, and skilled. Whether I'm tinkering with technology to improve efficiency or ensuring a repair is done right the first time, I treat every home as if it were my own.
Meet the Mascot: "Summit Mike"
You might notice the guy in our logo looks a little familiar?
"Summit Mike" is the cartoon version of our founder, but he represents something serious: the friendly, neighborly service we promise to every client. He's always smiling, he's got his tool belt ready, and he's the symbol of our "NoNonsense" guarantee. When you see him, you know the job is getting done right.
